NOTES:
We recommend these kits for engines with ported cylinder heads to take advantage of the increased lift of the S&S cams. Kits with the 585G camshafts are recommended for engines with “decked” cylinder heads and compression ration of 10:1 to 10.5:1. S&S 95” kits may be installed in stock 88” engines if the stock 88” cylinder are bored from 3 3/4” to 3 7/8” bore, or if 3 7/8” bore cylinders are purchased. This project requires a skilled technician. It is the responsibility of the person assembling the parts to check all clearances and assembly specifications.
